The operating speed a paper folder is listed at is intended to give you an indication of the maximum speed the motor on a paper folder is capable of running. If the manufacturer's listed speed for a paper folder machine is 4,000 sheets per hour this does not necessarily mean that the machine should fold 32,000 sheets in eight hours. The operating speed is just an indication point for estimating how long paper folding tasks should take.
Operating a paper folder at maximum speed continually over several hours daily may damage the motor or it's mechanical parts. Refer to the machine's owners manual or speak with a sales associate to determine the paper folders optimum daily or hourly use. This will reduce wear and tear and increase the lifespan of the machine.
